For their bachelor project, a study group from Interaction Design at Aalborg University used the mobile robot rFor their bachelor project, a study group from Interaction Design at Aalborg University used the mobile robot research platform, Capra Minima. The intent was to test how people react to movement as the intention attribute for Capra Minima. It was carried out by testing Incidentally Co-present Persons (InCoPs) reactions on an approaching robot, depending on movement cues at different proxemic distances. This resulted in a highly interesting explorative study of how the robot Capra Minima should communicate intentions in public places.
